2. Purpose of processing
NB Social connects this website with a Facebook Page and, optionally, with a linked Instagram business account so that content from the magazine can be published, scheduled, and technically monitored on social platforms in a controlled manner.
The connection serves exclusively for editorial publication and the technical operation of this social interface. There is no use for advertising profiles, visitor tracking, or resale of personal data.
3. Which data is processed
Meta connection data
When connecting, in particular the app ID, page ID, page name, user or page token, the token’s validity periods, as well as details of a connected Instagram business account may be processed and stored encrypted in the system.
Publishing data
For scheduled or direct publications, NB Social processes the post title, excerpt, target URL, featured image, as well as technical job and status data such as time, target platform, API responses, and remote IDs of the published posts.
Technical logs
As part of error analysis, queue processing, and traceability, technical log and status information may be processed insofar as this is necessary for secure and stable operation.
4. Legal bases
Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as the use of the interface serves the performance or preparation of editorial and contract-related services. Otherwise, processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the controlled publication of our own content, the technical operability of the website, and the traceable administration of the connected social channels.
5. Recipients and platform relationship
When using the function, data is transmitted to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited or the technical platforms provided by Meta insofar as this is required for authentication, page selection, connection testing, and publication. We only have influence over further processing by Meta after successful transmission within the scope of the role, API, and account settings provided by Meta.
6. Retention period
Connection data and tokens are stored only for as long as the connection is required for the operation of NB Social or until they are removed by administrators, revoked, or become technically invalid. Job and log data are stored only for as long as necessary for operations, error analysis, and traceability of the publication history.
