Windows 11 ARM64 is no longer an exotic special case. New notebook classes and mobile workplaces make it sensible to factor this platform into architecture and build processes early on.
With Delphi applications, the critical point is rarely just the compiler. External libraries, native drivers, reports, setup paths, or integrations that silently assume x64 often become the real problem.
Those who clarify these questions early gain room to maneuver: for new hardware, for longer-lasting client strategies, and for a target architecture that does not later fail because of individual legacy components.
ARM64 is therefore less a marketing topic than a test of technical foresight. The earlier such platforms are considered, the more economical later evolution remains.
