Windows 11 ARM64 is no longer an exotic special case. New notebook classes and mobile workplaces make it sensible to include this platform early in architecture and build processes.
With Delphi applications, the critical point is rarely just the compiler. External libraries, native drivers, reports, installer paths, or integrations that implicitly assume x64 often become problematic.
Those who clarify these questions early gain room to maneuver: for new hardware, for longer-term viable client strategies, and for a target architecture that does not later fail because of individual legacy components.
ARM64 is therefore less a marketing topic than a test of technical foresight. The earlier such platforms are considered, the more economical later evolution remains.
